South Norway Gravel Adventure

14–24 June 2027

Ten days of gravel riding, one rest day and one unforgettable adventure through Southern Norway.

For ten days, I will take you along a fantastic gravel route through Southern Norway.

The route is set. I know where we are going and where to find the most beautiful roads and trails. But what we will discover along the way, where we will stop and where we will pitch our tents at night will remain a surprise.

You do not need to research anything or plan a route.

All you have to do is get on your motorcycle and join the adventure.

Norway as it is meant to be experienced

We will ride long gravel roads through forests and across mountain plateaus, surrounded by mountains, lakes, waterfalls and fjords.

This is not a competition or an extreme enduro trip. It is ten days of real adventure riding, including sections that will challenge your technique, concentration and confidence.

Along the way, we will take the time to enjoy whatever we discover: a spectacular view, a beautiful place for lunch or simply a moment when we feel like stopping.

The programme is not packed with tourist attractions, reservations or fixed schedules.

The route is set.

The experience unfolds along the way.

Rest is part of the adventure too

This journey includes one rest day.

Where we spend it and what we do will remain part of the adventure. We may stay at an incredible spot in the middle of nature. We might use the day to visit somewhere special, recover, or organise our motorcycles and equipment.

We will decide what feels right for the group at that moment.

Because adventure does not mean that you always have to keep moving.

Sometimes stopping is exactly what you need.

Sleeping wherever the day takes us

Wild camping is part of this journey.

At the end of each day, we will look for a beautiful place in nature. It could be beside a lake, at the edge of a forest or somewhere overlooking the mountains.

Sometimes the spot will be right next to the road. At other times, reaching the best place may involve a slightly more technical section: a narrow trail, loose stones, grass or terrain made more challenging by the rain.

This is not extreme off-road riding. But it can add just enough excitement to make wild camping even more special.

Once we arrive, we will pitch our tents, prepare our food and enjoy the silence.

No reception. No reservation. No check-out time.

Just your motorcycle, your tent and Norway.

Norway can be wet

Norway can be beautifully sunny.

But it can also rain. And sometimes it rains for a long time.

You need to be able to deal with that.

We will not allow a bad weather forecast to immediately dictate our adventure. Good motorcycle clothing, suitable camping equipment and the right mindset are therefore essential.

At the same time, you always remain responsible for yourself.

Would you prefer to stay at a campsite or sleep in a cabin after a long or wet day? Check in with yourself and make the choice that feels right for you at that moment.

You are free to choose a campsite, cabin or other accommodation. Any related costs are at your own expense.

You do not have to prove anything during this journey.

Listening to yourself is part of the adventure too.

How difficult is this journey?

This is not a difficult enduro expedition.

We will mainly ride beautiful gravel roads that are suitable for a capable all-road or adventure motorcycle. Rain, loose stones, mud or the final section leading to a wild camping spot can occasionally make the route more technical.

You do not need to be an experienced enduro rider. However, you should be able to control your motorcycle confidently and be willing to ride on different surfaces.

I will guide you throughout the journey and help whenever needed.

It is not about speed.

It is about confidence, freedom and enjoying the ride.

Who is this journey for?

This journey is for motorcyclists who love gravel, nature and the unknown.

It is for people who do not need to know every viewpoint, coffee stop and sleeping location in advance.

You should:

  • be able to control your motorcycle independently and safely;

  • be open to gravel riding and the occasional technical section;

  • be able to deal with rain and changing conditions;

  • have suitable motorcycle and camping equipment;

  • be sociable and considerate of the group;

  • understand that adventure is not always comfortable.

You do not need to be the best rider.

Above all, you need to be ready to spend ten days truly living on the road.

One big surprise

I can tell you when we are leaving.

I can tell you how many days we will be riding.

I can tell you that there will be gravel, mountains, rain, wild camping and a rest day.

But I am not going to reveal every detail in advance.

Because once you already know everything, the surprise is gone.
