Perfect aerodynamics – for relaxed, fatigue-free riding

The proven MARATHON windscreen ensures relaxed, carefree riding and – incidentally – greater passive safety, thanks to its effective wind and weather protection, ergonomic design and pronounced touring comfort. Its rider-oriented angle and sophisticated contour provide optimum relief from wind pressure on the head, upper body and shoulders, as well as a noticeable reduction in turbulence – even at motorway speeds. When set to the upper position, an airflow channel opens behind the screen which effectively reduces turbulence – and, in rainy conditions, the water flow on the visor. In this way the MARATHON windscreen demonstrates its full potential on long journeys as well as on short trips and in every season. It offers maximum protection and perfect ergonomics for every rider height and helps prevent tension. The original adjustment mechanism can still be used with the MARATHON. To stabilise the original windscreen mount – which many riders describe as unstable – our bundle includes the double-sided windscreen reinforcement and the practical device carrier (#90160-000). The high-quality workmanship is evident at first glance: the 5 mm thick, scratch-resistant, UV- and fuel-resistant screen ensures clear vision without optical distortions. Another hallmark is the hand-polished edge, which makes an additional edge protector unnecessary. This not only improves aerodynamics and reduces wind noise, but also provides an unobstructed view ahead. All of this enables relaxed, comfortable and upright riding.
