With the Ilmberger Carbon Exhaust End Cap for the BMW R 1300 GS, you not only give your motorcycle a breathtaking, sporty look but also retain the original exhaust and noise emissions
This exhaust end cap is a major advantage over sports exhaust systems as it allows for a visual transformation of your original exhaust without affecting the performance or volume of your motorcycle. Made from high-quality carbon, this exhaust end cap not only offers excellent aesthetics but also a durable and resilient construction.
The name Ilmberger stands for the highest quality and innovation in carbon manufacturing. Each part is produced in-house, using prepreg specially developed for Ilmberger as the base material. This is processed in a complex procedure in an autoclave, offering numerous advantages.
Prepreg, a pre-impregnated carbon fabric, is characterised by an even resin distribution, while also having a high fibre volume content. This results in maximum strength and increases the flexibility of the components. Processing in an autoclave, a high-pressure oven that operates under controlled temperature and pressure conditions, ensures perfect, even curing and a flawless surface. This method prevents air pockets in the material and ensures consistently high quality of the parts.
