The final clear coat comes in a satin-matte finish, which further enhances the visual highlights of the material.

The surface of the BDC part is unique to each piece and resembles marble. At Ilmberger, the BDC is hand-laminated, cured in several stages in an autoclave, and impresses not only with its striking appearance but also with its technical properties. The different fibres scatter incoming light, creating a previously unseen reflection.

To protect this high-quality material from all environmental influences, we are the only carbon manufacturer worldwide to use a specially developed plastic coating on all surfaces. Combined with our clear coat, this creates an unprecedented and unique depth effect, showcasing the material's superior quality.
