This carbon part replaces the original component using the existing mounting points.

Ilmberger uses high-grade pre-impregnated carbon fibre matrices. The fibre volume is precisely defined and the orientation of each layer is specified. The matrix is then hand-laminated without air bubbles and coated twice with a protective layer. An additional clear lacquer layer protects and enhances the three-dimensional carbon structure. After autoclave curing, the carbon components meet the highest standards and withstand extreme loads.

This aerospace-grade material offers up to 70% weight savings compared to stock components and impresses with its stiffness-to-weight ratio. Form follows function: the design integrates perfectly into the motorcycle’s lines, harmonising with the surface texture and materials of adjoining OEM parts.
