Ilmberger uses high-quality carbon made from pre-impregnated carbon fibre matrices. The fibre volume is precisely defined and each fibre layer aligned. The matrix is hand-laminated without air bubbles and double-coated with a protective layer. An additional clear coat protects the surface and accentuates the three-dimensional structure of the carbon. After autoclave curing, the carbon components meet the highest standards and withstand maximum stress.

This aerospace material unleashes its full potential with up to 70% weight savings compared to the standard part and its outstanding stiffness-to-weight ratio. The design always follows function and integrates seamlessly into the motorcycle’s aesthetic, respecting the lines of the machine as well as the materials and textures of adjacent OEM components.
