This exhaust system features a redesigned design made from race-proven materials used in manufacturing, a high-quality, lightweight titanium link pipe, titanium inner muffler structure, and a redesigned end cap – all matched to an outer carbon muffler sleeve. The result is an exhaust system that is 23% lighter than the standard stock version. At idle, produces a rich and intense sound, while during the ride, the system offers a deep, full sound with the unmistakable Akrapovic character. It's possible to upgrade the Akrapovic Slip-On Line (Carbon) by combining it with two optional headers – one made of titanium and one made of stainless steel. For those who wish to combine the system with the headers, an optional noise protection insert is available. This EC/ECE-approved and Euro5-compliant product can be easily installed as a plug-and-play, with no remapping required. Installing the optionally available headers will void the EC/ECE type approval. The EC/ECE type approval certificate does not apply to the M 1000 R model.
