Rugged design
The sat nav features a high-resolution 6-inch touchscreen that is ultra-bright and glove-friendly. It’s purpose-built to withstand harsh temperatures and weather conditions (IP67-rated for dust and water resistance) during rugged off-road adventures. The enhanced processor offers improved performance, including faster map rendering and route calculations.

Turn-by-turn trail navigation
With turn-by-turn trail guidance, you can navigate unpaved roads and trails using OSM map content (including snowmobile trails in Sweden, Finland, and Norway).

Handlebar controller
Control the map with the press of a button and keep your hands on the handlebars by pairing the sat nav with the wired handlebar controller (sold separately).

On-road and off-road maps
Make use of preloaded topographic maps with 3D terrain and street maps for Europe, Africa (including Tracks4Africa), and the Middle East. The device also includes Garmin Adventurous Routing™ to guide you along most unpaved roads. North and South America, Australia, and New Zealand are available as free downloads via the device's map manager.

Detailed satellite imagery
Download satellite images over Wi-Fi directly to the device without a subscription to view high-resolution aerial views of routes and terrain.

Outdoor Maps+
Purchase an Outdoor Maps+ subscription to access premium map content, including HD relief shading with elevation contours, slope angles and aspects, avalanche risk reports, and more. Visit online to see which Outdoor Maps+ features are available on your Tread device.

Track your friends via your compatible smartphone or Tread device when everyone uses the Tread® app with Group Ride Mobile.

Vehicle-specific routing
Detailed road maps for Europe enable routing based on the size and weight of your vehicle.

Product synchronisation
Use the Tread mobile app to sync waypoints, tracks, routes and collections across your devices and the Tread 2 sat nav.

ABC sensors
Navigate confidently in difficult terrain with integrated sensors, including an altimeter, barometer, compass, and pitch and roll indicators.

Share your favourite routes
Easily transfer GPX files from your smartphone or other sources to the Tread 2 device. You can also share GPX files with fellow riders via the Tread app on your compatible smartphone.

Guided navigation everywhere
When you're back on the road, use turn-by-turn directions with spoken street names. Includes alerts for sharp bends, speed changes and more.

Live weather data

Music for the ride
Use the built-in media player to play music stored on your compatible smartphone and control it via the sat nav display. Audio is streamed through your helmet or headset using Bluetooth® technology.

Perfect for dog tracking
Wirelessly pair the Tread 2 with your compatible Garmin dog tracking device to locate your sporting dogs in the field. Markers for each dog appear on the map screen when in tracking range.

inReach technology
Pair your Tread 2 with a compatible inReach satellite communication device for two-way messaging, interactive SOS, and weather forecasts.

Mounting options
Tread 2 includes rugged mounting hardware for bars and handlebars, allowing you to choose the best setup for your off-road vehicle.

Group Ride Tracker
In areas with poor mobile coverage, pair the Tread 2 with the Group Ride Tracker to share your location with other riders.

Digital switch box
Control 12-volt accessories on your vehicle – including light bars and diff locks – via the sat nav display when paired with the Garmin PowerSwitch digital switch box. Not suitable for controlling motors with reversed polarity.
