This product was developed exclusively for the BMW R 1200 RS & R LC and is based on years of experience with BMW boxer engines. A twin-flow silencer made of lightweight titanium and a handcrafted carbon end cap ensures a 12.3% weight saving compared to the standard equipment.

The silencer was designed to improve performance and sound attenuation, reduce environmental impact, and provide a deep, rich sound. A specially contoured surface ensures additional strength and durability.

Power and torque increase by 0.9 kW (1.2 hp) at 4,550 rpm and 2 Nm at 4,550 rpm. These values were measured on the Akrapovic test bench compared to a BMW R 1200 RS & R LC with standard exhaust. The system is EC/ECE approved, and thanks to the plug-and-play installation, no remapping is required.

After installation, the system is fully compatible with BMW Motorrad panniers.
