Clever: Power supply of the charging box via the contacts of the navigation mount

Our USB charging box fits all BMWs with factory navigation preparation (Navigator V, VI). It is simply plugged into the navigation mount, locked and secured against theft. Power is supplied via its contacts.

Two quick charging ports USB A and USB C

On the right-hand side of the housing there are two USB 3.1 ports (Type A and Type C), which support quick charge standards QC 3.0 and QC 4.0. The USB charging box has a blue LED that indicates readiness and a red LED that signals intelligent communication (charging power, charging status) between the smartphone and the USB charging box. They are located above the ports. The splash-proof charging box has precisely fitting elastomer covers that protect the ports from splash water and dust when not in use.

The Peak Design smartphone mount is part of this set and is screwed to the USB box via an adapter. The innovative damping module protects increasingly sensitive smartphone components, which could be damaged by engine and chassis vibrations, by effectively reducing them.

The mount serves to attach a smartphone with a Peak Design case. It is made of robust, weather-resistant aluminium and designed for the toughest conditions. High-quality materials and a lifetime warranty make it a reliable companion – regardless of weather, smartphone type or motorcycle.

The front of the charging box is equipped with four screws that exactly match the standard hole pattern of various mounting systems, such as the Garmin Zumo XT mount. These systems can thus be securely and space-savingly screwed onto the charging box and supplied with power.
