Akrapovic Titanium Header for BMW R 1300 GS (Adventure)

Function and Product Features

• Developed exclusively for the BMW R 1300 GS / R 1300 GS Adventure
• Based on experience with the BMW GS series and boxer engines
• Designed as an upgrade to be combined with the Akrapovic Slip-On Line (Titanium) to form a complete system
• Constructed from high-quality titanium with a carbon heat shield
• Intended for closed circuit use only
• Increases performance and reduces weight
• Features larger diameter pipes than stock, with catalyst removal for improved exhaust flow
• The pre-silencer delivers a unique sound experience and deep racing tone from the boxer engine
• Weight reduction of 54.84% (3.4 kg) compared to the original exhaust system
• When combined with the Slip-On Line (Titanium): +3.1 kW (4.2 hp) at 7,800 rpm and +5.9 Nm at 3,000 rpm (measured on Akrapovic dyno)
• Plug-and-play installation, but ECU remapping is required
• The optional header is also compatible with the stock Akrapovic (first fit) / BMW Motorrad accessory silencer
• Installing the Optional Header (Titanium) invalidates the ECE type approval of the Slip-On Line (Titanium)
• Installing on Euro5+ bikes (2 lambda sensors) may trigger a warning light due to deviation from stock catalyst parameters
• This product does not meet emissions standards for road use
